Linux-New Forces Against Windows

In fact, linux came into being in the early 1990s,and have a great improvement till now.Now ,there are many communities and commercial companies developing Linux.Linux might enter the mainstream of desktop operating system in 2008.'The perform of Fedora9 and Ubuntu5.04 which is coming into being in late April 'll be even stronger than any versions of Windows',one qualified development engineer said.Red Hat ’s let out the news that Fedora9 will be rather worthwhile expecting. It is a new version with integrated innovation and is expected to give the user a much better using experience. And the new version of Ubuntu-Ubuntu8.04 'll be released too.So might need absolute patience on the release of Ubuntu8.04 and then the Fedora9.

WHAT WILL CHANGE IF MICROSOFT MERGER WITH MICROSOFT?

Yahoo is really in mire。Though no one can deny that it is still the second largest search engine company in the world with enormous impact in the world. It had made a incredible Yahoo Miracle in the late 1990s.But when we step into the new century, yahoo's creativity seems decreased a lot compared with its new arrivals, including Google. We can suppose if there is no google, yahoo 'll still be on the top of search engine summit. But it would seems more similar to Microsoft Corp today, becoming sluggish and less creative, and just producing apples of Sodom after input enormous fiancial resourses and manpower. In one word, they are turning dull and less attractive. Many yahoo users turned to google, and a lot MS users turned to Mac OS or Linux. That has been the trend. It's certain that this 'll continue if the two 'old tiger' donot make some changes.
Microsoft 'd made great effort and determination to merger Yahoo. They are both struggling to be above water. It 'll be a hard and long way to go,but MS has already lost its grip and plays high on YAHOO.Yahoo seems really beset with difficulties both at home and abroad. And it was recently reported that MS 'd sent an ultima
-tum to the Board of Yahoo. If yahoo are really mergered by MS,what 'll happen to Flickr, yahoo mail and a lot others, the answer is uncertain.

My experience with the 3 top web browser

Now i use firefox 3beta4,safari 3.0 for windows and opera 9.5beta as choices for web browsers.I found myself more dependent on firefox and safari.Safari seems different with its look alone, and the visible effect of it is the best of the three. It can set the character style more intuitively.I feel most comfort when i using safari. As to the page laoding speed is a little faster than fire fox at most times.Firefox is very excellent too,it has many extensions and add-ons which are very useful for me such as 'speak it ','ie tab' are very useful.I firstly encountered opera on my cellphone, opera mini 's become one important part of my phone.I love it so much that i downloaded several different versions of it on one cellphone.Opera is also fast, safe and convinent to use and it is cross-platform,from mac is ,windows to linux and free bsd..Opera is said to be developing a secret product called'opera dragonfly',can that be a pivotal way to beat its strong rivals? We can just wait expetantly.

vmware player seems really wonderful

It seems to be a hot wire for a rookie like me,I wanna try new things, but I find I started a little late.I tried linux in less than a month, firstly i tried the iso,but found i cann't manage to install it by alternate disk installation by myself. The first linux version i downloaded was a ubuntu 8.05alpha.Then i learned that only vmx file of a os version can be displayed by vmware player. But the player is really convinent to use.it almost skip the installation of operating aystems...Now i 've learned how to use synaptic installed by default to install softwares and i 've downloaded an opera from the Web.I 've downloaded 3 vmlinux on my computer, namely ubuntu.gentoo and open suse.I know that ubuntu and suse 're more popular though gentoo is more customizable.I found ubuntu easier to be used,to install software and a lot others.I installed a scim on my ubuntu, but it cann't work on my firefox and opera, which confused me a lot,i found i can only use it in terminal, and then copy and paste the wanted words to the search box of web browser! What's worse, the ubuntu of my computer collapsed toaday with a dialog box flickering；'the panel 'd encountered a problem..'it made the panels and the desk files concealing and cann't be called out which made me totally at a loss and 'd to reinstall the system.i mean to reabstracted the private ubuntu file archieve.I think i can find a way to solve the problem at last if i keep learning, tring by myself, learning from others and keep thinking.Yeah, linux is more rugged road than windows on computer for me,but once i 've choosed learning linux,i 'll stick to it!
